Spotlight: NE Center & Home for Veterans

The New England Center and Home for Veterans (NECHV) is one of the Nation’s largest and most effective community-based human service providers for Veterans of all eras. The NECHV has served Veterans facing homelessness across New England since 1989. Through the years, the Center has evolved and adapted, growing and adding comprehensive case management, education and employment services, focused recovery services, behavioral health support, and homelessness prevention initiatives.

The Center has proven itself as a leading innovator in developing service models and programs of support for the most vulnerable Veterans. Now in its fourth decade of service, NECHV is a private institution with the very public mission of delivering on this country’s promise to support Veterans who face challenges following their military service.

They warmly welcome both individuals and groups to support their mission through volunteer service. Volunteers play a vital role in their daily operations, especially by helping to serve lunch and dinner to the Veterans at the Center. Their presence and dedication bring meaningful connection and care to those they serve.  Every act of support helps change the lives of Veterans in need.   www.nechv.org
