The New England Center and Home for Veterans (NECHV) is one of the nation’s largest and most effective community-based human service providers for Veterans of all eras. The NECHV has served Veterans facing homelessness in DowntownBoston since 1989. Through the years, the Center has evolved and adapted, growing and adding comprehensive case management, education and employment services, focused recovery services, and behavioral health support.
The Center has proven itself as a leading innovator in developing service models and programs of support for the most vulnerable Veterans. Now in its fourth decade of service, NECHV is a private institution with the very public mission of delivering on this country’s promise to support Veterans who face challenges following their military service.
We warmly welcome both individuals and groups to support our mission through volunteer service. Volunteers play a vital role in our daily operations, especially by helping to serve lunch and dinner to the Veterans at the Center. Their presence and dedication bring meaningful connection and care to those we serve.
In addition to volunteer efforts and in-kind donations, financial contributions are essential to sustaining our programs and expanding our impact. Whether through time or resources, every act of support helps change the lives of Veterans in need. www.nechv.org
